Mathematics in ancient cultures

Last week I saw a television program about the philosopher Heron of Alexandria. He was an interesting man, and made great many inventions.

When looking for additional information from him on the Internet, I found a nice site that talks about different philosophers of the early times, and also dives into the old cultures and teaches us about their mathematics.
