Development resources on different Microsoft web sites

In addition to MSDN and its sub-sites, Microsoft has many different web sites that share developer information. In this blog post, I'm sharing some of the recently updated sites that have content about things such as Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
- MSDev.com: training for ISVs. Check out for instance "A Developer's First Look at Windows 7".
- DevReadiness.org: another nice site for ISVs. Contains links to relevant information, for example a link to Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Application Quality Cookbook.
- TechNet Springboard Series, a new collection of material at the TechNet site. For instance, check out the Windows 7 Feature Walkthroughs. The main page is here.
- Ramp Up, a newish site for beginning developers, or developers new to .NET. For instance, it contains resources to help classic ASP developers move to ASP.NET.
Although Microsoft doesn't very widely promote these sites, I suggest that you give them a regular visit. Some sites provide a convenient RSS feed, so be sure to check them out.
