Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 and new product editions

On the same date as Windows 7 became available, Microsoft announced Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2. You can download the latest beta here or from MSDN, as you see fit.

In addition to many technical features that I can't wait to get my hands on, the product editions we've learned to use a changing. In the next release of Visual Studio, there will be three product editions: Professional, Premium and Ultimate. Team Editions will disappear, though you can say that those features that were previously in Team Editions, can now be found from the Premium and Ultimate editions.

And of course, remember to download and install the Beta 2 as well. It now comes with a "Go Live" license, which allows you to create production code already with the beta.
