Windows Phone 7.1 SDK RC now available

Good news for Windows Phone developers waiting for the Mango release: the Windows Phone SDK 7.1 Release Candidate tools are now available. This RC version includes a "Go Live" license, meaning that you can already start submitting your Mango compatible apps to the marketplace. This marketplace submission opened on Monday.

If you have already Windows Phone Developer Tools 7.1 Beta 1 or Beta 2 tools installed, it is best to uninstall them first, and only then attempt to install these new RC tools.
