Windows Phone developer certifications now available

In the Microsoft circles, a certification such as Microsoft Technical Specialist or Microsoft Professional Developer (MCPD) are sought-after certifications. I recently browsed the Microsoft Learning web site, and ran into interesting news: Windows Phone 7 developer certifications are now available.

The Windows Phone certifications can be found on a separate page and range from topics like Silverlight 4 to data access on the platform.

Currently, the exam numbers are 70-506, 70-516 and finally 70-599.
