Windows Phone SDK 7.1.1 is available

You might have heard that Nokia will soon deliver a new, stripped-down version of a Windows Phone 7 device. Called the Lumia 610, this device will have only 256 MB of RAM (down from 512 MB which is usual) and have some other technical limitations.

Developers are naturally able to write applications for the new lower-capability phones, and for that, Microsoft has updated the SDK kit to version 7.1.1. This new update has now been available for a couple of days, so if you are interested in testing it, a download is available.
