Windows 8 and Visual Studio 2012 are now in RTM!

Great news today: both Windows 8 and Visual Studio 2012 (along with .NET 4.5) are now ready for manufacturing! These were announced on the Windows 8 blog and also on the Visual Studio developer blogs yesterday evening.

Also, the availability dates have now been set: Windows 8 can be downloaded from MSDN on August 15, i.e. in about two weeks. Visual Studio appears to be available on a similar schedule.

Now, let's enjoy the summer for a couple of more weeks, and then get the bits while they are still hot!
