How does the current ASP.NET roadmap look like?

Sometimes, ASP.NET web developers ask me about Microsoft's roadmap to the ASP.NET web technologies. Although predicting the future is a very futile task in the business of IT, the good news is that at least Microsoft does make an attempt to give developers some indication where it is going with its web platforms. (This is much better compared to many other tool/platform vendors I've been working with).

Microsoft's roadmap for ASP.NET is documented on the CodePlex site for ASP.NET. If you are interested, be sure to check the page from time to time.
