The Microsoft //Build developer conference starts soon
Posted: (EET/GMT+2)
If you happen to be available next to your PC on October 30, there's a great way to spend your time: you can attend the //Build developer event held by Microsoft in Redmond. Obviously, the best way to attend would be to be there, but the event is sold out now, so following the event on the web is the second-best option.
This year, you can expect a lot of Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 material, along with Windows Runtime (WinRT) programming, .NET stuff and native coding with C++. I'm at least excited about the Windows Phone 8 offerings, and am waiting if they would actually make the SDK for the WP8 available for the general developer audience.
