Enterprise Library 6.0 announced

Just last week, Microsoft announced the availability of the latest 6.0 version of the Enterprise Library building block for applications. Aimed at LOB applications (line-of-business), it contains many enterprise-ready features, architecture choices and example code that you can start using.

The latest version has been updated to take into account the newest features in .NET 4.5, part of Visual Studio 2012. An interesting statistics is that the library has been downloaded over four million times. That's a lot for any pattern/code sample out there! Also, Enterprise Library is now available as a set of NuGet packages, so it's really straightforward to integrate it with existing application, including Windows Store applications.
