Ten years of technology blogging: 2003–2013!

Time flies when you're having fun, doesn't it? It sure does, and this blog is not an exception. In fact, this December, I'm happy to celebrate that this blog has turned to age: ten years of technology and Windows software development blogging!

This blog wasn't my first on this topic, but this is the first on this address you are currently reading it at: http://www.saunalahti.fi/janij/blog/. This blog started as a personal blog about software technology and some other random topics, but has grown into a mainly Windows software development blog for both desktop, web, cloud and mobile developers.

Currently, I'm mainly talking about Windows operating system, related server products from Microsoft, and naturally, Visual Studio, Blend and TFS. This is what I've loved doing in 2003, and this is what I still love doing. Windows, Visual Studio (and Microsoft!) have come a long way. :-)

For those of you who are interested in the internals, I'm using mainly Word to write the posts, then a custom C# utility to turn the posts into RSS/XML, and an integrated process to build HTML pages from that same RSS/XML.

But above all, thank you for reading! There have been over 1,600 posts, so that's would be a thick book if put all together.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!
