Microsoft-led OData 4.0 is an OASIS Standard now

I was preparing some training material for a C# training session today, and one of the topics included discussion on OData (OpenData). While checking that my links we working, I noticed a nice blog post from March stating that OData 4.0 has been approved as an OASIS standard. This also includes the JSON format for transferring OData 4.0 data.
OData standardization with OASIS began at least in 2012. Other well-known Microsoft technologies standardized by OASIS are many Web Services related standards and XLIFF, the localization interchange standard. OASIS stands for Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards.
Hope this helps!
