What are Cloud Business Apps in Office 365 and how can you build them with Visual Studio 2013?

You might be aware that the latest Office 2013 applications like Word, Excel and PowerPoint can be extended with web-based apps. Now, building these application types is part of Visual Studio 2013 without adding anything else, but there's an additional application type as well: Cloud Apps.

The interesting thing about Cloud Apps in Office 365 is that you can run them on the browser or on a mobile device. Also, you can integrate regular databases, SharePoint data source, as well as SAP.
