Windows tip: clearing recently used lists in Start menu and applications

Sometimes, you need to give away your computer for somebody else. In my case, this happened in April when I left my previous employer. Cleaning your PC before you give it to somebody else is a good practice, but it's also good to know how to properly do that.
Cleaning up personal things start from removing the files and emails, but also cleaning up most-recently used lists (MRUs) from Windows Explorer (the shell) and different applications.
On the Windows 7 help, I found a nice article titled "Clear lists on the Start menu and taskbar" just for this purpose.
So, when you find yourself in a similar situation, check out the tips here.
Good luck!
