Nokia’s new SensorCore SDK for Windows Phone 8.1

During Microsoft's Build developer conference in April, Nokia announced the forth-coming SensorCore SDK. This new SDK, at this point supporting only select Lumia models (1520, 930 and 635), allows developers to collect sensor information from the Windows Phone device without always being the active application and/or draining the battery.

Says the announcement:

"It will know when you're walking, running, or anything else that involves your location and how you move about in it. Potentially, your phone could be programmed to perform a certain task when specific criteria are met."

Sounds great, indeed!
