Fixing Windows 10 install error 0x803000204 on a generic desktop PC

I was recently installing Windows 10 on a generic, non-branded (white label) desktop machine with multiple SSD drives installed. Upon starting the operating system installer, after selecting the destination drive, Windows reported the following error:
We couldn’t install Windows in the location you chose. Please check your media drive. Here’s more info about what happened: 0x803000204.
After diagnosing this error, I found a solution: when installing Windows 10, the installer can get baffled by many different drives. After I disconnected all other drives (three in total) and only left the single SSD to which I wanted to install Windows on, the setup worked fine.
I noticed afterwards that Google/Bing searches for the above error, the resolution suggested did not work in my case. Thus, I wanted to blog about my findings.
Hope this helps!
