Understanding Azure’s support for Machine Learning (ML)

Since last year, Azure has had support for ready-made machine learning tools and support for technologies based on neural networks. These topics go beyond traditional software development into the realm of data sciences and even biology, but the main message is that these technologies are becoming available in more sophisticated and easier-to-use ways.

It's interesting to browse the current documentation of Azure about these new features. A very good place to start is the Machine Learning Studio web portal, which contains both background information about ML technologies, but also contains practical examples on how to get started.
