SQL Server Developer Edition is now free

Great news for all SQL Server developers: the previous, bargain-priced SQL Server Developer Edition is now completely free! Previously, the Developer Edition was a great way to get access to all of SQL Server's features, unless you had an MSDN Subscription, of course.

Essentially, the Developer Edition was a full-blown Enterprise Edition, but just limited to development and testing work, not production or internal use.

Now that the Developer Edition is free, there's no need to put money on the table, but still have access to all features SQL Server has to offer. Be sure to check it out.
