Restarting Windows 10 OneDrive if it crashes

In previous Windows operating system versions, Microsoft's OneDrive client (OneDrive.exe) was a separate installation, and thus you had to manually install it, if you wanted to get your files synchronized.

In Windows 10 however, OneDrive is built-in, and thus you don't need to install anything. You just need to sign in (with a Microsoft account). However, I've noticed that sometimes, the OneDrive client can crash, and thus the file synchronization stops.

In previous Windows versions, you could simply go to the Start menu, and launch the OneDrive client again. In Windows 10 however, search for "OneDrive" in the Start menu simply points to the folder where your OneDrive files are.

To restart the client in Windows 10, you need to run the following application:

C:\Users\my-name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\
OneDrive\OneDrive.exe

Hope this helps!
