Microsoft to acquire LinkedIn

Great news for all business networking fans: Microsoft has recently acquired LinkedIn, one of the leading online sites for professional and business networking.

Here's the press release from Microsoft, and a similar one from LinkedIn side. Initially I believe nothing happens visually or feature-wise on LinkedIn's web site, but I quite sure that in the future, we'll see a small Microsoft logo on the footer of their web pages. Let's see when this happens.

I believe the LinkedIn University is one of the first places where Microsoft sees collaboration possibilities with their own Microsoft Virtual Academy or MVA.
