Visual Studio turns 20, and next version 2017 launch date set

Happy birthday, Visual Studio! This year, Visual Studio turns 20 years, which is a venerable time to be on the market for any piece of software. The exact version 1.0 launch date was January 28, 1997.

I'm also happy to learn that Visual Studio's next version, 2017, has now a launch date: March 7.
