Finding the Microsoft Purview Information Protection Viewer executable MSIP.Viewer.exe

I was today needing to open some protected emails in Outlook which had been protected using Microsoft Purview. My Outlook Classic couldn't handle it, so I saved the attachments to disk and then downloaded Purview Information Protection Viewer (MSPIPV). Microsoft's download ID for this one is 54536.

To my surprise, this application didn't create any Start menu shortcuts, so the obvious question is: how do you launch the tool? Turns out the utility is named MSIP.Viewer.exe and it installs to the now-trendy location of "C:\Users\my-name-here\AppData\Local" folder (aka %LOCALAPPDATA%) under "Information Protection Viewer". So, on my machine, the full path is:

C:\Users\janij\AppData\Local\Information Protection Viewer\MSIP.Viewer.exe
