Teams link format change when sending calendar reservations from Outlook

Happy new year! Lots of software development meetings happen in Microsoft Teams meetings with remote clients and remote team members, or just because people work from home.

Today, I noticed that the email format for Teams links in Outlook calendar reservations has changed. Not a bit deal but wanted to document this while it happens.

The old links, before the new year 2026 looked something like this:

And now, the links are shorter and clearer:

I believe the links could be even shorter, but even as they are now, this can be considered an improvement.
