Durable Task Scheduler in Azure Functions can now be purchased in Consumption mode

Azure Functions have for a while had a feature called Durable Task Scheduler. Just a few days ago, Microsoft announced that this feature can now be purchased in the Consumption mode (SKU). Previously, only a Dedicated mode was available.

Note that the Durable Task Scheduler itself is not available in every Azure region. To know if your region is supported, you can run:

az provider show --namespace Microsoft.DurableTask
--query "resourceTypes[?resourceType=='schedulers'].locations | [0]" --out table
